We Did Latent-Style Hack-AI-thon Demos Last Night

  • I hosted an AI hackathon yesterday where I had a lot of fun revealing the scores latent-style (with proper tech tools)! The response was so great that I might do another later this year. Hit reply if you wanna participate.
  • In our inner circle weekly meeting earlier today, I got to know some brag-worthy things of a member which they weren't doing justice to while talking about it. I pushed them to double down on it, compared two different ways of saying the same thing side-by-side, and see the difference for themselves. The world runs on proxies, and the most important proxy is confidence. The world just takes you at your face value. Quite a hack, I must say.
    This is such a recurring thing that I'm quite tempted to bring back the SHOW YOUR WORK challenge to everyone reading this, yes you Reader. Put out a blog post, newsletter, demo video on socials, anything in public counts. 4 weeks, 1 point each. Using AI is okay, but it should be shipped to count. Hit reply if you want in!
  • A lot of people told me that interviewers now expect some cloud knowledge from backend/fullstack devs. Just knowing Vercel won't cut it. Have you experienced this? What scares you the most about AWS? Hit reply and let me know! I reply to every single email.
